The Light Fighter is the backbone of early-game fleets. Cheap to produce and fast, they are ideal for raiding inactive players and swarm attacks. Their low individual firepower is offset by sheer numbers.

Tips
Light Fighters are most effective in large numbers (500+). Their low cost means you can replace losses quickly.
Use them for early farming of inactive targets — their cargo is small but they're fast and cheap enough to send in bulk.
A small number of Cruisers will annihilate a Light Fighter swarm via rapid fire (RF×6). Don't attack someone with 10+ Cruisers using only LFs.
Deathstar (RIP) has RF×200 against Light Fighters. Even 1 RIP will destroy thousands of LFs in seconds.
