Heavy Fighter

Overview
The Heavy Fighter is a step up from the Light Fighter with significantly more hull and firepower. It bridges the gap between light attack craft and true capital ships, and is useful for mid-game raiding and as fleet filler.

Tips
Cost Efficiency
Heavy Fighters are 3× more expensive than LFs but deal 3× damage with much more survivability. For pure combat, they're often better value than LFs once you have Impulse Drive.
Pair with Cruisers
A mixed fleet of Heavy Fighters and Cruisers is effective in mid-game. Cruisers handle LF swarms while HFs add raw firepower.
RF Target
Like Light Fighters, Heavy Fighters are crushed by Cruiser rapid fire. Don't use them as your primary force against Cruiser-heavy defenders.
