Overview

The Shipyard is where all ships and defence structures are built. Higher levels unlock more ship types and reduce construction time. You cannot build any fleet or defence without it.

Reaper & Pathfinder

Reaper and Pathfinder require Shipyard level 10+ and specific research prerequisites in addition to the base Shipyard level.

Build Time

Shipyard construction time is divided by (1+R)×2N(1 + R) \times 2^N where RR = Robotics Factory level and NN = Nanite Factory level.

Tips

Keep It Levelled

The Shipyard level acts as a gate for all military progression. Upgrade it in lockstep with your research tree.

One Shipyard Per Planet

Each planet has its own Shipyard and build queue. Running a Shipyard on every colony lets you build ships in parallel.
