Playing Styles
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Fleeter | Focuses on a large fleet and fleet crashes (HoFs); rarely farms small targets |
| Miner | Builds mines over fleet; usually only keeps cargos + Deathstars for fleetsaving; often trades deuterium |
| Raider | Small/average fleet; gains resources by farming inactive players or small crashes |
| Turtle | High mines + heavy defence; avoids PvP fleet combat entirely |

| Fleetcrash | Deliberately destroying a fleet to create a debris field |
| Crashed | Having one's fleet destroyed |
| Counter | Counterattack — hitting a fleet on its return from a mission |
| Ninja | Covert counter-attack; catching an attacker while they are on the way back |
| Raid | Attack with intent to steal resources (not destroy fleet) |
| Farm | Repeatedly raiding the same target |
| DF | Debris Field — appears above a planet after combat; harvested with Recyclers |
| TD | Total Damage — metal + crystal lost by both sides in a battle (HoF metric) |
| HoF | Hall of Fame — a fleet crash achieving 20% moon chance; a prestige achievement |
| Advanced HoF | HoF with 100M+ Total Damage |
| Super Advanced HoF | HoF with 1,000M+ Total Damage |
| Number One | Highest TD HoF in the universe |
| Top 10 | The 10 highest TD HoFs in the universe |
Fleet Mechanics
| Term | Meaning |

| FS | Fleetsave — sending fleet into flight so it cannot be attacked |
| Jumping | Moving fleet via a Jump Gate |
| Recall | Bringing a fleet back before it reaches its target |
| ACS | Alliance Combat System — coordinated multi-player attacks or defends |
| ACS Def | ACS Defend — holding your fleet at an ally's planet to help defend |
| Deploy | Permanent fleet transfer to your own planet/moon |
| Mobile | A temporary colony used to extend your fleet's reach |
Intelligence & Scanning
