Plasma Technology boosts resource production on all planets. Each level increases Metal, Crystal, and Deuterium output. Unlike most researches, it has a direct, permanent economic effect.

Tips
Late-Game Value
Plasma Tech pays off on accounts with many high-level mines across multiple planets. At 10 colonies with Mine 30+, the 10% metal boost is enormous over months.
Expensive Prerequisites
Energy 8 and Laser 10 are non-trivial. Don't rush Plasma early — focus on drives and combat tech first.

Every level of Plasma competes for resources with fleet upgrades. Calculate your net income gain before committing.
